Buckinghamshire Council Rights of Way will be carrying out surface repairs to a 50 metre section of Buslins Lane (Bridleway) Chartridge adjacent to Field Cottage and Elm Cottage from Monday 9th November (see attached map). The Public Bridleway for this section only will be closed with a temporary legal order for the duration of the works. You may have to access the route from the other end in the village. We would aim to have these works completed within 3 days (weather permitting).

Chartridge Parish Council was formed in 1899. Before this Chartridge, Asheridge and Bellingdon were part of Chesham parish. We have seen no fewer than 30 Chairs since 1899, the most recently appointed being Juliet Davies, Chair since 2016. Today the population within the parish is close to 2000.
